What has this world come to?

So I know I never actually jumped on the whole rap bandwagon but i gotta give it props. I still don't understand how softcore porn can go on tv as a rap video but whatever. Whatever floats your boat. I think videos should tell a story, or tell what the songs about. However I guess im being hypocritical I mean half of the rap songs are about having sex so I guess it makes sense in a way. The other half are about drugs and drinking. Now I know that many rock songs are about the same things but they are not so blunt.(no pun intended) And even if they are the, videos never are softcore porn.

My current obssesion

Lately ive been obsessed with Green Day music. Its crazy because i allways saw myself as a classic rocker but i found out more about Green Day and I really started listening to the lyrics I found they were so much deeper than some other types of music. It just really hits me. If you just look I'm sure you will find a song or a band that does this to you. Some songs are just so special that you have to listen to all the time. The one that does this to me is Jesus of Suburbia. I find something new in it everyday. I would love to here about more of these songs so tell me.

Temperary insanity

I hate how sometimes life confuses me to no end not only that I sometimes even lose control of my emotions because of it. But in another way it is great I find some of the best music that way. For me that's a big part of music, see it gives you a different outlook on life. You know whenever I feel mad at my parents I listen to Stay Together For The Kids by Blink-182 it just makes me feel understood. And there are many more songs that do this type of thing. I love these times so in other words good things come from insanity.
